"Well, he introduced himself and Fred, and then asked me what my name was. He thought I was lost." I said, laughing because I must have looked pathetic while waiting.

I smiled. "He seemed to be interested in you. He barely even acknowledge me when I walked up." I told her, hoping it would boost her confidence.

That made me smile widely. "Yeah, he didn't even say anything to you." I said, sticking my tongue out. It made me happy to know he was only paying attention to me. It gave me hope.

I grinned at her. "That's a good sign." I said and started eating my ham and cheese sandwich.

Later that night, Mira and I were sitting together in the common room, helping each other with the potions homework. "How are we supposed to write five pages on blood unicorns? I can't think of unicorns now..." I complained, putting my quill down.

I sighed and dropped my head in my book. "I hate him right now." I said and started scribbling some notes on unicorns. "When is this due anyways?" I asked.

"I always hate him." I answered, not even thinking of the words. It was habit by now to say that kind of thing about Snape. "I don't know, I wasn't paying attention. We might as well do it now. Knowing him it'll be due tomorrow." I sighed.

I sighed and kept scribbling. "Yeah, I guess I have too." I said and flipped through pages of my book. "Maybe we should hit the library?" I suggested.

I nodded, and picked up my books. "Seems a good place to start. And maybe we'll run into people there..." I said, smiling at the thought of seeing George up there. "Let's go." I said, heading towards the door.

I grinned and walked with her to the library. The "golden trio" were there along with Ginny, Fred, and George. I smiled at Fred for a moment but blond hair caught my eye. I glanced to the left corner of the room and saw Draco there, sitting alone. I chewed on my lip and merely followed Alice to a table. Shortly after, Fred and George sat down.
"Evening ladies" They said and we smiled back.

I smiled, glad they were there. I said hello to the trio as I sat down, and smiled back at Fred and George. It seemed like we were supposed to be talking today; even though Mira pulled me away from George before lunch, here he was in the library. I just hoped I would get some work done. "Good evening. What brings you here?" I asked, opening my potions book on the chapter on unicorns. I sighed.

"Just came along with our little gang of misfits. Hoping we'd see something we like." George said, waggling his eyebrows. I laughed at him. "And have you?" I asked. "Definetly." They said, Fred smirked at me with a wink. I blushed. I glanced over at Draco's table and noticed he was watching us.

I giggled and blushed with their response, subconsciously fixing my hair to make it look better. I was so desperate for George to really like me, and I hoped I wasn't going to overdo the primping to make him. I never really wore much makeup so I wasn't going to worry about that, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to buy a new set of robes or a new blouse. "Do you boys normally stay around libraries looking for things you like?" I asked, closing my book, deciding there wasn't going to be a lot of work getting done.

"Not usually." Fred. "Usually we head outside." George. "But this bleak weather," Fred. "Has kept us indoors." George.
The way they went back and forth constantly was quite amusing. I even giggled at them. "Well I'm glad you decided to try the library for a change. We wouldn't have been able to enjoy your company." I said, grinning at Fred.

I liked watching them bounce off each other as they talked; my head kept looking back and forth as each spoke. "I never thought I would be so, well, grateful, for the terrible weather. Usually I like when it's sunny and nice outside. It's good for walks, you know..." I said, and stopped, realizing I was rambling. "The library usually isn't that fun. Not without... you." I said, feeling unsure of myself again. Mira was such a pro with flirting and I was just... there. Blunt and obvious, and not knowing what to say.
