George seemed to think she was cute. "Aww, well thank you. I could say the same about you. I'd come her a lot more often if there was a pretty blonde girl to look at." He said with a wink. I grinned and looked to see the predictable blush form on her face. I sighed then. "We really need to do this unicorn paper." I thought for a moment while glancing over at Draco's table. "I'll be right back." I got up and walked over to him. He would know when the paper was due.

I blushed as usual and squeaked out a 'thank you' before busying myself with the book again. "Well.... I don't really leave the common room... often." I said, and listened to what Mira was saying. "Yeah, and unicorns aren't my favorite thing to write about. Well, nothing Snape gives out is something I want to write on, really. Do you know anything?" I asked, as I watched Mira walk over to Draco. Now, seeing Draco in the library was a surprise.
----------------------------------------
"So, you're starting to like boys now? Or are you and the Weasley's swapping fashion tips?" I asked with a smirk as Mira walked over to me.

"I think we had that same assignment a couple years back. Let me think...." I noticed Fred got up and went back to the table with the others to give me a momnt alone with her. I started telling her about my essay and what I could remember about unicorns and even found her the same book Fred and I used to write it.
---------------
I smirked back and took the seat across from him. "I don't know, you tell me. Do you think I like girls or boys?" I asked, raising an eyebrow in a way I hoped looked seductive

I was nervous when Fred got up and left, but I put on a brave smile and listened to George, not really hearing what he was saying. I was too busy looking at him. "I just don't think I was meant to know about unicorns and what parts of them are used in potions. I really am terrible at potions." I admitted, looking up at George from the book he had found.
-------------------------------------------------
I shrugged and chuckled. "I don't really know what you like. I don't even really know you, just what I've heard and seen." I replied honestly. She had been looking at me for a while, so maybe she did like guys. I wasn't sure.

I chuckled. "I'm not a fan either. But I'm not exactly a fan of any of my classes. I USED to like defense against the dark arts but...not anymore, for obvious reasons." I said with a smirk. I took her parchment from her and started scribbling some notes.
-----------------------
I grinned. "Well, then I guess you'll never know. Unless you wanted to get to know me." I offered, wondering what he was thinking.

I scrunched my face up in disgust, knowing exactly why. "It isn't any fun anymore. And we aren't learning anything. Next year should be fun for me, though. I plan on trying out for the Quidditch team... I just hope I don't fail." I said, watching him write some notes down. "Thanks. You don't have to do that." I said.
---------------------------------------------
I thought about it for a minute. She was cute, I'd give her that, but if my friends caught us talking... "I don't think that would be a good idea, you and I talking to each other." I replied, and stood up to leave. "Maybe later."

I perked up instantly when she mentioned Quidditch. "You're trying out? For what position?" I asked her curiously. I may have to come back for try outs next year.
---------------------
I smirked at him. "I'll hold you to that." I said and rose to my feet. "Oh, I forgot to ask. When is that essay due?"

I shrugged. "I'd love to be a chaser. My dad was a chaser when he was in school, that's how he and my mom met. She was his biggest fan, so to speak." I said with a laugh. "I'm just not sure I'll be good enough." I said.
------------------------------------------
"Next Monday, I think." I called over my shoulder as I left. Why did she want me to get to know her? Did she really think something would actually happen between us...

I grinned. "We could play together some time. Im sure my friends wouldn't mind if you joined a game. We can give you pointers and everything." I said, hoping she would accept.
----------------------
I sighed and walked back towards the table. Fred stood in my path and I raised an eyebrow. "Give them a minute alone. They're flirting." He said simply and walked with me to another table.

I smiled. "That would be great! I just hope I don't mess you guys up." I said, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear in an attempt to be cute.
----------------------------------
I sat down at a table far enough away from George and Alice that we wouldn't bother them, but close enough that we could hear them. "I take it your friend isn't that good with guys. She's really nervous." I said.

"I don't think you will." I said and watched her tuck her hair behind her ear. "Besides, everyone's gotta learn some how. You might as well learn from those who already play right?"
-------------------
"Cousin actually." I corrected. "And no, she's never been so good with guys. But she seems to be really into George."

I smiled at him. "Right. Besides, being on the team will get me out of the common room more often. I never seem to leave." I said.
---------------------------------------
I smiled at Mira, and looked back to my brother and Alice. "He seems to like her, too. He's the one who wanted to talk to her earlier."

I smiled. "We'll have to change that. You going to Hogsmeade this weekend?" I asked her curiously.
-----------------
"Yeah. I hope this goes well. She needs to get out more." I said, watching them over Fred's shoulder.

"Yeah. Mira and I were going but... if I tell her I was going to hang out with you, I don't think she'd mind. We seem to always hang out, her and I..." I said. I didn't want to tell him that was because I didn't really have any other friends, even if that was the truth. I mostly kept to myself.
----------------------------------------------
I nodded with a smile. "And what about you? I never see you around." I said. I knew she was talking to Draco earlier, but she couldn't like him... could she? She was too nice, and too cute to be stuck with someone like him.

"You two seem pretty close. Are you family? Or just close friends?" I asked out of curiousity.
----------------
I grinned. "I guess I need to get out more too. I'm pretty much always with her. And we're always inside doing our school work or hanging out. People think we're like...together." I explained, rolling my eyes.
