I thought the bookwork could get me out of having to talk to George, but then I remembered what her bookwork and essays usually entailed. I would be doing it Sunday night, as late as I could put it off for. "Five... okay, you're on. Five minutes. Oh Merlin, what if I pass out?" I asked, laughing a little.

I chuckled. "That's a possibilty." I said and glanced at Draco's table. He was blancing a quill on his finger. "I'm mostly worried I'll forget how to speak." I looked back at Alice before opening my book, wanted to get the work over with. "Maybe we should look into courage potions." I added with a grin.

I opened my book after she had, trying to make myself busy to distract myself from thinking about what I would say. "Knowing me, I'd probably forget how to speak and then pass out. If only Snape liked us better, he could brew us some. It would be helpful." I said, and stared at the pages in front of me.

I snorted. "Maybe if we were in Slytherin we'd have a chance at that." I said with a grin. "Then again, I wouldn't have such a problem talking to Draco if I were a Slytherin." As I thought about it, I was still happy with being placed in Hufflepuff. In ways I couldn't explain, I felt as though I belonged there. "I think you'll do fine. Just start with a 'hello' or talk about Quidditch. Compliment him or something. OR talk about those little spelled candies they've been selling. I hear they're a huge hit!" I added, trying to help her out. As much as I'd love to see her with blue hair, I'd much rather her have a good experience trying to talk to a guy she likes.

"I guess I could mention wanting to go out for the team next year." I said, biting on my lip. I had wanted to try out for Quidditch since I was a first year, but my insecurities about not making it held me back but I decided that next year I would try out no matter what. At least, I hoped I would. "What are you going to say to Draco?" I asked, curious what anyone could say to him other than saying how mean he was to practically everyone I knew.

I smiled at her idea. "That could work. You could get into a conversation about positions." I laughed at the double meaning and hoped it made her blush. I sighed and shrugged. "I haven't the slightest idea yet. Maybe I could ask him if he took notes in Potions? Or if he had written down the homework because neither of us did?" I suggested, wondering if she had any ideas.

My face went redder than it had been all day, thinking about the double meanings. I forced my mind to stay on Quidditch, though, and not run off into my dream land. "Well, the uhm... yeah, okay. The homework would be good since I always tend to forget to write that down." I said, and took a deep breath. "I just wish the trip would hurry up."

I smiled mischieviously. "Why? That would give you less time to finish your half of the bet." I pretended to think as I looked at her hair. "I think you'd like great with blue hair. I'm thinking eletric, with sky blue tips." I said, grinning widely.

I covered my hair with my hands, as if she was working on a spell to dye it and covering it was the only way to get her to stop. "No. I will not look good with blue hair... You just better hope you hold up your end. I want a nice bubblegum pink for you, see if it gets Draco's attention." I said, winking.

I glared playfully at her. She knew how much I hated pink. Of course she would have chosen that color. "We'll see about that. I'm sure I could find another way to get his attention. That purple top I have maybe?" I said with a smirk. The top was low cut and showed off my curves.

I scoffed. "Yeah, if you want to go the way of the slag. Sorry, but I think you're too pretty to objectify yourself towards him like that." I said in all honesty. I didn't mind showing off my curves, but to do it for the sole reason to get a guy's attention was stupid to me. "Just... be yourself, okay?" I said.

I smiled and nodded. "Don't worry. I don't think I can muster that much confidence. Maybe if we ever actually go on a date I wear it." I said and stood up as class was dismissed. It was time for lunch now and I considered trying to catch Draco before hand and talk to him. "Hey, I'll catch up with you ok?" I said as I stood outside the classroom. I pretended to rifle through my bag while I waited for him to come out. He walked out, flanked by Crabbe and Goyle and I chewed my lip before speaking. "Hey, you didn't happen to write the homework down did you?" I asked him, hoping he wouldn't ignore me.

I nodded and watched her walking away, hoping I wouldn't run into George and Fred on my way. I wasn't prepared to talk to George now, and I knew without Mira with me it would be too awkward. I waited for her down the hall, hoping she would come out soon.
------------------------
I was making fun of Potter a bit towards the end of class and was carrying it on as I walked out with Crabbe and Goyle when someone started talking to me. I knew she was in my year and I thought her name was Melanie... Moira... something that started with an "m." "Uh, yeah. We just need to write a five page paper on the uses of unicorn parts in potions. You and your blonde girlfriend didn't write it down?" I asked with a smirk.

I walked with my brother and we laughed about a joke he heard about Umbridge. I noticed a cute blonde Huffie standing nearby looking lost. I nudged Fred and walked over to her. "Hey there." We said in unison. "You look lost." I said. "Waiting for some body?" Fred put in, looking curiously around the empty hallway.
---------------------
I raised an eyebrow at him and scribbled it down. "She's my cousin, actually. And no, we were...distracted." I said, running a hand through my dark hair. "Thanks." I added, suddenly feeling awkward.

I stood like a deer in the headlights staring at the twins as they were talking to me. I whimpered as I put my hands behind my back, not knowing what to do with them. "I was just... uhm... my cousin's.... just waiting." I said, feeling the blush creep up on my cheeks again. I wasn't sure what else to say.
---------------------------------------
I nodded and looked back to Crabbe and Goyle. "Yeah, sure." I said, and began walking away. "But don't you have anyone else to hang around? You're always with her. Not that that I care, though." I said, turning around.
