I cocked my head to the side. "Got a name there, Huffie?" I asked her curiously. She seemed embaressed and that facinated me. Why would she be embaressed around us? We weren't scary were we. Hmm.. Wonder if there was a new rumor going around.
---------------------
I thought about it and realized he was right. I was really only ever around her. I shrugged and slung my bag over my shoulder. "I don't know. I guess I just don't really know many people." I answered

I looked at my feet nervously, and took a deep breath before looking back up at him. He was so attractive that I really didn't think I'd be able to talk. "Uhm... it's Alice." I replied quietly, hoping that Mira would come by now. I was going to end up making a fool of myself.
------------------------------------------
"Well, you should meet others. Rumors are going around, cousins or not." I said, and walked away from her laughing a bit. The rumors started in our common room a couple weeks ago, and I had been passing them around. I did think Mira was cute, but I knew what the guys would think.

"Alice, eh?" Nice name, I thought to myself. "Well this here is Fred," "And this hear is, George." Fred introduced "Nice to meet you." We said with smiles. She seemed distracted. Maybe this was a lost case.
------------------
I blushed and crossed my arms. "I'd rather have lesbian rumors than being called a male slut." I countered as he walked away. Maybe I should start flirting with guys more....

I felt my face flush even deeper, if that was possible. I was able to smile through my embarrassment, and stood up a little straighter. "Nice to meet you too." I said. I thought it was cute the way they talked together; it was evident they were really close, and made me wish I had a sibling. "I, uhm, don't think we have any classes together. You guys are sixth years, right?" I asked, unsure.

I sighed and walked down the hall to find Alice. I raised an eyebrow as I saw her talking to the red haired twins. "Nope." "7th years, actually." "Hey Alice." I said as I walked up and smiled at the boys. Fred looked suddenly interested in me. "Why hello there." He commented with a smirk. I smiled shyly back.

"Oh," I said, realising that if my wish did come true I would only have a year with George before he left. I would make him come to all my Quidditch games, though, if I made the team. "Hi, Mira." I said, smiling at her proudly as if to say 'look at who I'm talking to!' I looked at Fred curiously as he was talking to Mira. Did he like her?

I smiled at Fred. "Hi." I said sweetly before looking at my cousin. "Come on, let's go get some lunch. I'm starving. Later boys." I said with a smile before dragging her away. "Always leave them wanting more. And always be the one to walk away." I said with a smirk.

I looked behind me and waved as Mira pulled me away. "Hey! But I was doing a good job, I think. I was smiling! I never smile talking to guys I like." I said, pouting. Sure, I was hungry but I would rather have seen where the conversation was going.

I grinned at her. "I know but you have all week to try again. If you leave them wanting more, conversations will go better in the future." I paused. "Did you know people think we're lesbian for each other?" I asked her, wondering how she would take it.

I hoped she was right about the conversations. I hoped I would be able to talk and not stammer the next time we talked. "I... what? Oh no... how'd you find out? Who knows? D'you think that's why Fred and George were talking to us?" I asked, ready to hurt the person that started the rumors. Granted, we didn't really have a lot of other friends so I see how that could be thought.

I figured she'd take it that way. "Draco called you my girl friend. Then when I corrected him he acted like people will think so either way." I rolled my eyes. "I hate rumors and this school is full of them." I added with a sigh. "Maybe we should get out more."

I felt like crying, knowing that once a Slytherin got hold of something against someone in another house they kept talking about it until it spread to the entire school. "I think we should, too. Before it gets too late." I said, hoping it wasn't already.

I frowned. "I think we should start talking to more guys. And flirting more." I said as we walked into the Great Hall. I glanced over to Draco and caught his eye. He smirked and shook his head, probably because I walked in with Alice. I glared at him then.

I groaned. "But I really am terrible at that." I said. I caught Draco smirking at us and I looked away, trying not to get too angry. "I guess this weekend we'll really have to go through with our plan, huh?" I said.

I nodded and sat across the table from her. "So what did you guys talk about?" I asked her curiously.
