I thought about it and wondered if our father would. If Beckett had asked first, it was doubtful that father would say yes to James. But maybe we would be able to persuade him into changing his mind if his daughter was in love. "I'm sure he will." I lied, being hopeful.

"Thank you so much for making me talk to James tonight. Or else... well, I don't want to think about that." I said, glancing at Beckett. He looked friendlier now that I wasn't with James. "I just hope father will give him an answer by tonight. It feels weird not being able to tell Sam... wherever he is." I said.

I giggled when she mentioned Sam. "Oh, he's busy right now." I said, remembering him pulling his bride to be out of the room. They were very wrapped up in each other and no one seemed to notice but myself.

I made a face. "Please, I would rather not think of my brother like that." I said, even though I heard him talking about it countless times with his friends. Men were such vile things sometimes, but I couldn't see James being like that. To me, he would always be the perfect gentleman.

I laughed and suddenly felt light headed. "Grace? Do you think we could head back to the house now? I'm started to feel a little under the weather." I said, holding a hand to my head. Maybe it was the new corset that was doing it. I'd heard of women fainting over them before.

I nodded. "Yes, I think the corset would be a good thing to get out of. For both of us." I said. "Uhm, Governor Weatherby, would you mind telling my father Olivia and I went home? We are feeling under the weather at the moment." I said. "Of course. Do feel better, dear." He said, and walked on.

I nodded to him and walked with her outside. Our carriage driver was no where in sight so we decided to just walk. It wasn't too far. We arrived at the house and I felt odd once we walked in. I heard someone inside and thought it might be Sam. "Samuel?! We're home!" I called and heard something shatter. I flinched and looked at my sister wide eyed. "Samuel?!" I called again.

A feeling of dread came over me as something else broke. "Maybe he's just mad..." I said, but was proved wrong when a dirty man walked into the foyer. "Oi, Cap'n. Over 'ere. Found somethin ye may like." He said, and my heart stopped. I wanted to turn and run but my feet were rooted to the spot. I grabbed my sister's hand tightly and swallowed hard, wishing James or our father would walk in now.

I froze when I saw the man walk into the foyer but held onto my sister, knowing she was afraid. I had to try to be strong for her. Another man, obviously the Captain walked into the room and stopped upon seeing us. His eyes darted back and forth between the two of us for a moment before a golden toothed grin appeared on his face. "Evening ladies." He said, his hand pulling a pistol out of his belt. I yelped and moved Grace behind me. "What do you want?" I asked, trying not to cry.

"Olivia..." I said as she pushed me behind her. I was already crying, I couldn't hold it back. "Please... take anything you want. We'll leave... we were never here!" I said, trying to reason with the man. He didn't look like the reasonable type, however. "Please, don't hurt us..." I whispered.

The Captain and the other pirate merely chuckled. "Ye see...there's a problem there. We don' know that the second ye leave, ye won' go straight to yer father and announce our arrival." He glanced at his partner in crime and they shared a look. "Ye'll have to come with us." He said with a shrug and called for the rest of his men that it was time to go.

-the next morning because I am lame. lol-
I was pacing my room, waiting for father to come up and tell me something about Olivia. I barely slept last night; the only sleep I got was interrupted by nightmares of my sister getting taken. I couldn't stop crying. "Father, please! We must go after her!" I yelled as I ran downstairs, still in my nightgown and hair undone, not knowing who would be downstairs. I couldn't wait any longer.

-lol, you are not!!-
I sat in the Captain's quarters glaring at Jack who was still passed out in his bed. He had chained me to his chair before going to bed so I wouldn't murder him in his sleep. I hadn't slept out of fear of him waking up and deciding to have fun with me. He had decided, after I begged him, to only take one of us in hopes of a ransom later. I can still remember seeing Grace crying on our front steps as they dragged me away. I 'hurumphed' multiple times, hoping he would wake up and unshackle me. "Could you stop making that annoying sound? I'm up." He finally said, scaring me. He stood up and I looked away instantly so I didn't have to look at his shirtless chest. "That depends. Are you going to take off these chains?" I asked, glaring at his desk. We'd been bickering back and forth since we left Port Royal.

I glanced up to see my fiance in her night gown and he hair was a mess. I felt awful. She must have been up all night, worrying about her sister. I looked down politely, as to not embaress her or offend her father. "Grace, mind our guests." He scolded, and I glanced up to see if she would blush. I couldn't help myself. I'd missed her after she left. "Good morning, Miss. Wellington. I am so sorry about your sister." I said to her quietly.

*Jack*
I slowly walked over to her, pulling on my shirt as I did so. I chuckled, finding it amusing she wouldn't look at me without a shirt. "That depends, love. Are ye goin' to try an' kill me? Ye can't run, unless ye can swim all the way to yer home. Which," I said, looking her up and down. "I find doubtful." I smirked.
--------------------------------------------
"Mind the guests?! Father, my sister has been kidnapped by murderous, vile men and you are only worried about my appearance?" I tried smiling at James as best as I could, and walked right past my father to James, hugging him. "It's been absolutely terrible, James. Are you going after her? Please tell me you will get her back!" I said, sobbing into his chest.

I glared at him. "I happen to be a great swimmer. Although, you could be a gentleman and just take me back." I said, knowing I had no chance in hell. He was hoping for a ransom. And he was a pirate, not a gentleman. I sighed. "No, for the last time. I'm not going to kill you. I have no reason to. You're crew would kill me for killing you."
----------------------
I frowned slightly and hugged her back. Her father looked annoyed. "We're waiting to hear back from Lord Beckett to get his approval. They are his ships after all." I explained to her. I would have gone after her last night if I didn't have Beckett to answer to. I brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. "Are you alright?" I asked.
