I don't understand why I can't find one decent man. I'm pretty, with good breeding--which didn't mean anything among pirates--and I know her way around...well, I pretend I do. But nothing works, and I'm still alone.
I stood at the railing of the ship and stared into the water, my favorite past time. I never grow tired of looking into the water, seeing the fish and dolphins as they swam by. It was about sunset, and pretty soon I'd be watching the sunset and heading off to sleep, probably with Ragetti. He likes me, and he's one of the nicer pirates out there, but I don't like him that way.
I sighed as I looked around the deck, seeing if there was anyone I felt like being with before I went to sleep.

I set my things down in Jack's room for now. I decided I could figure out sleeping arangement later. I had to go find my sister. She was easy to find, however, while she stood by the railing of the ship, staring into the water. That's where I always found her. I wandered over to her and stood beside her in silence for quite some time.
I thought back to how we left Port Royal. Lillian had gone back to be with our mother and I followed shortly after only to find her engaged to none other than Cutler Beckett. I couldn't stop the shiver that fell down my spine at the mere thought of him. She took a lot of convincing but after Beckett made a play for me, she realized what she was about to do and we took off soon after the fact. I know it must kill our mother to have her children run out like that but we just couldn't stand to be near that place. It was our own personal hell...
"Are you happy to be out at sea again?" I asked her with a slight smile. I ignored the voices of the crew and the bickering captains nearby and listened only to the waves and her voice. I tucked my arm under hers and held her close to me. My sister meant more to me than anything in the world. It was lovely to have her back with me on the sea, my favorite place to be.

I smiled, taking my arm away from Anna and hugged her. I didn't realize how much I missed her while she was gone and I was stuck in Port Royal; I guess my former fiance had somethign to do with that.
"Happier than you could imagine. Thank you again for saving me from Cutler." I said, probably for the hundrenth time since leaving. I loved him, I know I did, but after what he did, I realized he wasn't right for me, and I left with Anna. A good thing, too--my life would have been worse than living with mom.
"Why is everyone always arguing around here?" I asked, glancing in the direction where it was the loudest.

I smiled and hugged her back. I'd missed her too. It was rather lonely to not have some one to talk to while attempting to find my way around the Caribbean. I was glad to have her back in touching distance. I chuckled when she apologised again.
"Stop apologising or I'll throw you over board." I said, my high-society accent coming out. I hated when I sounded really french and overly polite. I tried to rough up my voice a bit before speaking again. She had asked me about the arguing.
"I dunno. The're pirates an' men. The're gonna argue." I said and frowned realizing it sounded too forced. I glanced up at Jack and the "second captain" curiously. "Did you hear about that one?" I asked pointing to the man with the large hat and even larger feather. "Apparently he says the ship is his. I heard he's Barbossa. The man who mutinied Jack." I explained.

I couldn't help but smile. I never really liked Jack ever since I came on the ship, but I knew Anna did, so I wasn't going to be rude about it and be rude to him, although he was a pirate--he probably did something to deserve it.
"Ah...yeah, I see him. So if he mutinied Jack, doesn't that make it Barbossa's ship?" I asked, a bit confused. "So why is Jack saying it's his?"

I chuckled. "I guess he got it back." I saw Ragetti walk up and asked him to explain the situation to us. He did and I laughed.
"An' now they don' stop bickerin'." He told us as he continued to carve his new eye. I briefly wondered where his other one went before Jack walked up. I smirked at him and he gave me a knowing smile.
"Anna, Lillian...Meet me mutinious first mate, Hector Barbossa." He introduced with a fake smile that was full of hate.
((Now I'm the one that needs to watch to movie to get really into it again XD))

I smiled, finding Barbossa attractive. I mentally slapped myself, not knowing why I thought that; he wasn't the type of guy I would normally find attractive. I cleared my throat and finally decided to say something, hoping I wouldn't sound like an idiot. I could always say I was too drunk to know what I was saying if I messed up.
"Nice to meet you!" I said, and from everyone's expression, it wasn't something you said when you first met a pirate. I think I was blushing, and that didn't help any.

I saw the look on my sister's face and instantly recognized it. I looked up at Barbossa who was looking curiously at her and I scrunched up my face. I didn't understand what she could find even the slightest bit appealing but...she had weird taste, I thought as an image of Beckett swam to the front of my mind. I shoved it away quick.
"So, you're Barbossa? I've heard about you. Nothing good." I glanced at Lillian. "Ever." I looked at Jack who was looking back and forth between Lilly and Barbossa. He saw the look too. "Well, I'm going to go get some sleep. It's been a tiring day." I exclaimed, looking at Jack. "Mind if I steal your room for at least tonight?"

I was embarrassed, and by the look on Anna's face, I knew I was in for a talk later. She's never liked the guys I liked. I don't think she ever saw why I liked some of the guys I've liked...I don't even know why, for that matter. I sighed, and looked at the floor.
"Uhm...can I sleep with you tonight, Anna?" I asked, looking over to Ragetti, who was smiled and waved at me. I waved back and quickly turned to Anna. "Please?" I stressed, nodding my head towards Ragetti.

I looked at her with a smirk then glanced at Jack who was frowning at the floorboards. Apparently he was hoping I would like to reignite our old passion. I thought that was amusing. But I wasn't sure he would want us to steal his cabin. That would be rude.
"It's up to Jack, dear." His head shot up and he looked at me questioningly. We exchanged a few looks before he sighed.
"I suppose...for tonight." He said, emphasising "tonight".

I mentally hugged Jack, knowing I would never actually touch him. I glanced back at Ragetti and felt a little guilty because of the look on his face.
"Thanks," I muttered to Jack, not looking at him. I had this weird thing with him, I didn't like looking at him when I spoke to him. "Let's go, hon," I said to Anna, and smiled at Barbossa. "Nice to meet you," I added, smiling at him.

I chuckled as Jack half glared at me and merely winked before following Lilly to his cabin. It was a very familiar room because it was where I spent most of my nights while on his ship before. It was small yet comfortable. I sat down on his bed that was off to the side. It seemed like the imporant part of his cabin was his desk with all his maps and flags. I raised an eyebrow curiously at it, wondering how many nights were spent passed out in that chair. I looked back up at Lillian with a dissapproving look. "Care to explain?" I said, leaning back to get comfortable.

I sat in a chair that Jack had, turning it away from the desk so I could face Anna and talk to her easier. I had an idea of what she was going to ask, and I was scared about what it could be, but since her and I are so close she probably already knew what I was thinking. "Explain what, darling? I was just being polite." I said, trying to act innocent.

i rolled my eyes at her stubborness. Of course, I'd be a hypocrite if I gave her hell for it...I was the same way. One thing twins shared was basic personalities. "First of all, polite would be saying please and thank you. Not smiling like a dumbass with stars in your eyes." I said with a smirk, remembering her blush. "And secondly....tha's a load of crap because we're on a PIRATE ship...No manners necessary." I replied with a chuckle. "So spill."

I felt my face redden and I looked away from Anna. There was no way I could tell her why while looking directly at her, but I knew I had to tell her. I figured she had it figured out already; Anna sometimes knew things about me I didn't even know. I guess it's part of the special connections with twins. "I might have a...crush on that one Jack doesn't like," I said, squeezing my eyes shut as if that would make me invisible. I wish it did. "It's strange, I know." I added.
