Name: Diana Cardwell Title/Position: Pirate (and merchant's daughter, if that still counts) Parentage: Merchant/sailor and a housewife (daughter of a shoemaker) Love Interest: Scrum Looks: Shoulder-length black hair, dull blue eyes, short-ish, curvy History: She's the youngest of three children, and was born in London. Her mother died after giving birth to her younger brother, who died hours later. She grew up on the seas with her father, where she met and fell in love with Scrum. Diana was picked up hours later by the Revenge, and isn't sure if anyone else from the crew survived. It's been about nine years since then, so she doubts any survived, or else she would have found them by now. She travels wherever Scrum goes, refusing to leave him again.

"You're absolutely infuriating, Jack Sparrow." I said for the thousandth time. He had captured me a few days ago, complaining about something to do with a ship. He still hadn't told me everything yet. Now we were sitting on a beach while he paced. I was seated beside his "first mate", Gibbs. He still called himself first mate regardless of the fact that they didn't seem to have a ship. Scrum, a "crewman", stood nearby with his...lover, Diana. She was nice enough but I wasn't exactly trying to make friends here.
"Oh, shut it." Jack demanded, turning to glare at me briefly. He returned to pacing shortly after, muttering to himself again. "Gibbs?!"
"Aye, Captain?" Gibbs responded immediately.
"List, please." Gibbs seemed to sigh in annoyance, as if they'd been over this many times before.
"A bloodred ruby, an arrowhead shaped rock, a fire, and a witch, captain." Gibbs listed off and I raised an eyebrow. What did they need me for?
"Scrum?"
"Aye, Captain?" Scrum responded faithfully.
"Any luck on finding the other items?"
((Sorry if the intro is lame...I couldn't think of anything.))

I was getting annoyed with Jack. I didn't understand what Scrum and I were needed for, or why we couldn't stay on the Revenge, seeing as she had been my home for so long, but I wasn't about ready to stay there and watch Scrum leave again. I was a stupid girl of twenty-one, not wanting to leave my father alone when Scrum left the first time. I'd be damned if I let him walk away again.
But now, seeing what I would have to deal with in the form of Jack Sparrow... I wasn't sure how much more of this I could take!
Scrum searched his pockets when Jack asked if he had found anything else, finally pulling out a rock.
"Well, I found this. Should help." he said, and I sighed. We had searched all day for a rock to fit the description Jack gave us, so it better be worth something.
"And I can make a fire. Which leaves... the witch and the ruby. Where in the blazes are we gonna find a ruby, Jack?" I asked. I had never seen one just lying around, so no doubt that would be the hardest thing to find, unless that's the reason he captured the other girl for. Truth be told, after being on a crew surrounded by men all day, it was nice to have another girl around. Even if Angelica was on the ship, I never really talked to her much; it felt like I was the only girl.
"Do you have the ruby?" I asked, looking at the girl now, hoping she would say yes.
