I smiled. "Thank you." I said for the compliment, and took his hand.

A smile came to my face as I watched the two dance. They looked so good together, and she looked so happy. I caught her eye and she had the biggest smile I'd seen on her face in a long time.
((while they're dancing, you wanna have a cannon fire and then a swarm of pirates come and destroy the party?))

((Okay!))
I caught my sister's eye as she looked to me, a huge smile plastered on my face. Nothing could ruin the moment, except...cannon fire. Everyone stopped dancing and looked around, some running, others holding their partner close in fear of what was happening. I held onto Samuel tightly as a large group of pirates came in. I frantically looked around for my sister.

My eyes were staring horror strucken at the door where a group of pirates were barging in. I could hear heavy cannon fire and screams everywhere. The marines were frantically trying to control the raid but there werent enough of them in the room to out number the pirates. I ran to my sisters side and pulled on her arm. "Come on! We have to hide!!" I yelled over the noise. Her partner looked around frantically. "Come with me!" He said and pulled us with him across the ballroom and out into the hall. He stopped once we reached the stairs. "Go upstairs and lock yourselves in a room until I come and get you. Do not leave, understand?" He ordered. We both nodded and ran upstairs, searching for a hiding place.

"Victoria, I'm scared." I said, looking around as we ran. I knew that didn't need to be said, but it was all I could think of. "Sure, I had a dance going with a handsome man, and pirates choose to attack!" I said, my voice shaky as my eyes filled up with tears. ((Sorry the post wasn't that long. I feel bad because you wrote out that long post, and mine is short! )

((lol. dont worry bout it. i have fun writing long posts. its ok if yers are short. it happens. )) I couldnt help but chuckle slightly at that. "Calm down sweetheart...We're going to be fine." I told her as I opened a door. We stepped inside and were met with the site of a rather dirty pirate with a tricorn(sp?) hat on his head, stealing from a safe. He looked up and the three of us just stared in shock for a moment. "What are you two doin 'ere? Everyones aposed to be downstairs, aye?" He asked casually. I could feel Vanessa completely frozen to the spot and i clutched onto her arm, prepared to run when we had a chance. "We....we're....we're....hiding....or....we were...try-" "Ah." He grinned widly and took a step forward, his teeth shining. "What are yer names, love?" ((i was thinkin their last names could be Faust. If you dont like it let me know.))

((That's good! ...But my posts are always short!))
"Uhm, I'm....uh...Vanessa, and this...uhm, is my...sister, Victoria. We will just...take our leave...now." I said, tugging on my sister's arm to get her to leave the room. By now, tears were streaming down my face. I tried to calm down, but it was no use.

He took a step forward and we took a step back. "Hm. Victoria and Vanessa...what?" "Beg pardon?" I questioned. Vanessa tugged on my arm trying to get me to follow her out the door. For some reason, I didnt want to leave. "Yer last name, darling." He said, that same grin plastered on his face. "Faust...And you are?"

"You don't know I am? I'm Cap'n Jack Sparrow!" The pirate said, his face dropping as if he was someone we should have heard about. "Who?" I asked, and as he was repeating himself again, a loud crash came from one of the other rooms, like a window breaking. I took this oppurtunity to run, hoping Victoria was behind me. I ran down the stairs and looked behind me briefly. Victoria wasn't there. "Miss Faust! Come with me!" Samuel shouted, taking my arm. "But, my sister..." I protested, staring up the stairs. "We'll find her later." He replied, and drug me away from the staircase.
((Was that okay? I didn't know what else to write. Sorry, I still can't talk like a pirate! lol I'll practice!))

((yup yup. its fine. stop worrying! )) I started to run after Vanessa but was stopped by the pirate. "Let go of me!" I yelled in his face and held me tighter. "Jus' fer that...I don' think I will..." He said, his rancid breath pouring over my face. I cringed away from him and he chuckled. "Yer comin with me...Try ter tell me what to do..."He muttered the last bit and began pulling me along with him. ((eventually, you wanna start doin the double posts? like, you post for jack too and i for samuel?))

((Yeah. I'll try my best as Jack! lol))
I sat in a chair in a room that Samuel had taken the two of us to and cried. "She's going to die! They won't let her live, pirates don't play fair." I sobbed, and Samuel took my hand. "Now, now, we'll get her back. We'll start a search and find her. Plus, they'll probably hold her for...ransom, if they want something." He said, and I sighed. "I hope so." I said, and Samuel wiped my eyes gently with a handkercheif.
((I is running out of ideas!))

I was shoved roughly into a room by the captain and he followed in after me, closing the door. "Was that really necessary?" I questioned with a glared, rubbing my wrist. He shrugged. "You were gettin' on me nerves..." He stated casually. I rolled my eyes, annoyed. "Why am I here?" I asked. It was probably about the 18th question I'd asked him on the way to the ship. He groaned. "Do you ever NOT question something?! Yer here because I said so. Yer to stay in my cabin until I trust ye not to do anythin' stupid. An' yer to do as yer told. Savvy?" I was quiet for a moment. "Are you going to rape me?" I asked cautiously and he groaned again. "Do ya want me to rape you?" I shook my head frantically. "Then no." ((just write about you worrying for tonight, go to bed, then after you wake up, you set sail with samuel. ))

"Come on. The pirates are gone. You should get to sleep if you insist on coming with me tomorrow." Samuel said, walking back into the room he left me in. I stood slowly. "If I must. I would feel better if we could look for my sister now, but I suppose it'll have to wait. I hope..." I said, and Samuel grabbed my arm gently. "Don't, please. Stop worrying. Your sister will be fine. Just get some sleep, and we'll leave tomorrow." He said as we walked up the stairs. I went into my room and lied on my bed, not even changing out of my dress. Samuel helped me take the corset off, and I lied down again, and Samuel left my room. As I fell asleep, I worried about my sister, and how she was. And, most of all, I prayed she was still alive.

"Where am I to sleep?" I questioned, recieving a sigh and a point towards the very messy bed. I sighed and got up, going over to lay down. "This would be much nicer if I had something to change into...." I mummbled. As I was laying down, something was thrown at me. "Trousers?!" I questioned again, feeling unlady like just holding them. "Aye. I don' exactly have a dress lying around my cabin, miss." Jack said, annoyed and walked out of the room. I sighed.

"Vanessa, wake up." Samuel's voice woke me up. "Good morning." He smiled as I opened my eyes. I got out of bed and ran to my closet, looking for something to wear. "I have something here for you. I picked it out earlier. Not too fancy, I suppose?" Samuel asked, holding a very simple light brown floor-length dress. "Thank you." I replied, and he left while I changed.
